The prints available in this series stem from the Tarot Show, an exhibition put on by the Studio Gallery Association in 2007.
For the exhibit, I painted the Ace to Eight of Swords. The suit holds a fascination for me, firstly, because I practice iaido, but also because it is about the world of the mind, where I spend a lot of time.
I liked the idea of the Ace so well that I painted four more after the exhibit.
