These are some of my latest works.The themes are all over the place.
Wheee! was a commision piece to illustrate the joke "what did the snail say when riding on the turtle's back?"
Steampunk Snail and the Emporer and Tortoise grew from that. I was thinking about a story of a snail that ruled a country from the back of a tortoise.
It was near Hallowe'en when Sparky and the Sprites emerged. Leaves in the gutter are one of my favourite sight/sounds in autumn.
Pale Morning Moon was another commission. I love the early light in my community of Hillcrest in mid-winter.
Apple House is a theme I have always wanted to develop; things growing out of other things.
These originals all come on d'Arches, cold pressed rag paper and framed.
